The Inuit of Northern Canada are hunters. They hunt for their food and also harvest the fur and hides for their own clothing. The furs are still traded for income to provide a living wage to ensure Inuit can purchase essential foods and services. The furs travel all over the world to satisfy the fashion mavens and strut the runways of high fashion. But their is no one more worthy to wear these furs as fashion statements then the Inuit. Anuk, is wearing a beautiful pale blue jacket with bead work on the shoulders, and fox fur collar. He walks with pride.
