P.M. Knight is in tune with the impact that human beings have on earth. Her art often focuses on sociopolitical, human rights, environmental and conservation issues. She has a keen sensitivity to world events, especially when Nature turns on Nature, and her work in recent months has been intensely influenced by the overriding consequences of the global COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Patti was selected to participate in an online exhibition, Art Under Quarantine, curated by internationally recognized painter and art director, Jada Griffin, who is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, one of the three top venues in the United States for visiting art collectors from all over the globe. 

“The story in the art is there to be explored,” says Patti Knight. She sets the stage for the viewer, but viewers must make the journey into the work themselves. Her Art requires time for contemplation. With a gentle nudge from Patti, those who are willing to take time and let go of pre-conceptions can be transported into another reality, a magical garden, a challenge about our first nations, or the status of women from different cultures.  It is a reality well worth the trip.
